Mission and Vision

To raise an army. To spread the Gospel.
About UsThe Soldiers Pledge

A Call to Action!

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

James 2:14-17, NIV

Soldiers for Jesus is more than a brand or a fashion statement. It is a movement – a very real and actionable statement of faith.

It is Christianity in action.

Vision

The evangelist Reinhard Bonnke is quoted as saying: “We are to Plunder Hell to Populate Heaven for Calvary’s sake.”

This is our vision – to see an army of Christian soldiers called, equipped and commissioned to go into the darkness of this world, pulling the lost back into the light, proclaiming freedom from bondage to sin, shame and fear – proclaiming release from captivity!

We see an army of believers rising up to take ground for the Kingdom – through evangelism and compassionate ministry, through practical outreach and discipleship.

We see an army marching into the darkness to break chains and unlock prison doors with the Keys of the Kingdom that Jesus entrusted to us – love, grace, truth and mercy!

We see an army marching into the darkness, their banner is Jesus and their battle cry is Calvary! The gates of hell do not prevail against them! They are unafraid and unashamed – they get their courage from the Cross.

We see an army going boldly into the darkness proclaiming good news – that there is healing, deliverance, hope and freedom – a new and living way forward in Christ Jesus.

Can you see it? Will you join us?

Mission

1. To reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through public events, personal evangelism and the distribution of ministry materials.

2. To train up every day Christians to carry the Cross in their community – that each Christian will become an evangelist and carry the message to those still stuck in darkness.

3. To create a culture of evangelism – so that we might live out the great commission in our daily lives, wherever we might go – boldly proclaiming the redeeming love of Christ.

4. To create a culture of incarnational living – living like Jesus – becoming more and more like Him everyday so that we may promote the Christian worldview at home, at school, work and in our communities.

5. To provide Bibles, Christian study material and motivational content to as many homes as possible so that minds and hearts may be transformed.

6. To create a culture of servanthood – or Practical Christianity – by providing practical assistance and care wherever and however possible.
